Cookie and Data Processing Notice

Fennec does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or any cookie-based third-party analytics today.

Fennec does use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies and uses no browser storage, so it sits outside the cookie/storage controls below.

Fennec does use browser storage and authentication-related storage so the app can remember your session and preferences. Similar storage technologies are treated with the same transparency as cookies here.

Essential storage is used for login/session handling, API authentication state, theme and accessibility preferences, sidebar state, cookie preference records, notification dismissal, and legacy local data migration prompts.

These items are needed to provide the app or remember choices you explicitly make. They cannot be switched off inside Fennec, though you can clear them in your browser.

Optional cookie- or storage-based analytics and marketing are off and not used. If Fennec adds a storage-based analytics or marketing tool later, it should not be activated until you opt in through the cookie preferences control.

This is separate from Cloudflare Web Analytics above, which uses no storage and so is not something this toggle switches on or off.

Cognito login pages and GitHub authorisation pages may set their own cookies or browser storage under their own domains.

Fennec stores only the information needed to complete login, maintain your Fennec session, and process integrations you choose to connect.

You can update cookie and storage preferences at any time using the Manage cookie preferences control in the app footer or cookie notice.

Clearing browser storage may reset theme, sidebar, notification, migration, and cookie preference choices.
